Cosmetics
Fumed silica can improve the distribution of nail polish pigments and prevent them from settling. In addition, the rheological properties can be adjusted as needed to improve its application properties. If the refractive index of the solvent system corresponds to the refractive index of silica gel, fumed silica can be used to formulate transparent nail polish, such as sealants and primer.
Silica can improve the uniform distribution of pigments in lipsticks. Once applied, the silica prevents the pigment from wandering or "bleeding" into the fine lines of the lips.
Face and eye makeup
