Food

Precipitated silica is white particles or fluffy powder with high purity and good fluidity. It has the characteristics of moisture absorption and promoting flow. It is used in various powdered foods to improve the fluidity of the powder, prevent agglomeration or improve the diffusion ability of the dry powder in the liquid. Therefore, it can play a very good anti-mold effect. Mainly used for food caking corrosion inhibitor, thickener, stabilizer, flavor and fragrance desiccant, clarifying filter aid, etc.
 
The application of fumed silica in food powder can be used as anti-caking agent and glidant. During the storage and transportation of powder, due to changes in temperature, humidity and pressure, it is easy to agglomerate, which affects the quality and shelf life of the final product.
 
Fumed silica has the characteristics of small particle size, large surface area, porous structure, etc., and has good adsorption capacity and hygroscopicity.
