Ink
In thermal ink, hydrophilic fumed silica accelerates drying, which helps to avoid pollution and blurring of products caused by wet ink; in ordinary ink, hydrophobic fumed silica limits the adsorption of ink to water and eliminates foam at the same time. While the ink surface is still glossy, the color strength is also improved. In gravure printing, flexo printing and silk screen printing, fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent to control the amount of ink when the printer is working, and make the printing result clean and clear; in the ink cartridge of the printer, fumed silica acts as a dispersant and ink volume control agent.
Special treatment of ultrafine precipitated silica, strong adsorption, good dispersion, mainly used in ink to play the role of adsorption, anti-settling, thickening and so on.
Silicon dioxide for inkjet printing is the absorption material of the surface coating of the color inkjet substrate, and it is the receiving material of the coating. The properties of silica are those of the surface coating. When printing, the ink is sprayed onto the surface of the paper, the water in the paper will be absorbed by the inner surface coating, and the silica adsorbent in the coating will quickly absorb the water. This makes the dye non-diffusion, non-cross-color, highly clear, thereby improving the resolution and color of the image.
