Biogas gel prepared from gelatin and DNA has unique fluorescence/phosphorescence characteristics and highly ordered layered structure. This intrinsic photoluminescence effect enables the aerogel to convert the absorbed ultraviolet light into visible light, effectively improving the solar weighted reflectance of the aerogel material in the visible light area (up to 104.0% under the solar light simulation), greatly improving the daytime radiation cooling efficiency of the aerogel material, and reducing the ambient temperature to 16.0 ℃ under the outdoor conditions of high solar irradiance. On the other hand, the large-scale preparation of aerogel plates with anisotropic pore structure was realized by using the reversible dissociation reconstruction characteristics of strong ionic hydrogen bonds at the water mediated aerogel interface, and the scalable and universal water welding strategy. The long-term ordered pore structure can ensure the reliability of the optical properties and comprehensive properties of aerogel materials. In addition, the all biomass gas gel material has the properties of flame retardancy, rapid self repair, recyclability and biodegradability, and is highly environmentally friendly in the whole life cycle of material source, preparation, use and waste. This work provides new ideas for the design and preparation of sustainable radiation cooling materials in the future.
